“We have really enjoyed our stay at the peaceful Lodge. Tania was not here when we arrived but a friend’s of her was here to welcome us. Tania arrived the day after and welcome us warmly. The wooden lodge is really well located, in olive plantation.

The house is well equiped, good layout. The pictures are exactly as in reality. The garden is really nice and tasteful : many flowers. The swimming pool was perfect : clear water, without chlorine, and perfect temperature. Really, a nice place for peaceful holidays, far from noise and bustle of the city.”

“Our stay at the peaceful Lodge was fantastic! I honestly can’t think of of one thing that could have been better. The house itself it absolutely perfect.

It’s clean, comfy, and has everything you need. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was fun and relaxing. Tania was a great host. The location is perfect.

There is lots close by to do and see as day trips. We enjoyed our day touring the schist villages. Coimbra and Tomar are also close by. The Wooden Lodge was such a comforting place to stay and I would without a doubt recommend it.”

“It´s a very nice refuge, good for relaxing and visit lots of great Portuguese spots such like the natural pool of São Simão. Tania and Steve are wonderful hosts and the lodge is very beautiful, with all the required amenities. We recommend it to all our friends and hope to come back again.”

“A very spacious comfortable lodge with all needed amenities, it was very clean and well maintained and even had a welcome hamper with essentials including a nice bottle of wine. There is a log burner in the lounge which was really nice in the evening when it was a little chilly. Tania and Steve were very friendly and helpful and even helped us with places to visit. There is a beautiful swimming pool but it was a bit too cool for use in February.

The central location was ideal for visiting local historic towns like Coimbra and Tomar and some great places to eat locally. I would definitely recommend family and friends to stay here and will certainly be returning myself.”

“Euer Holzhaus ist ein Traum. Urlaub in der Natur, und doch so zentral, dass alles nah ist. Seien es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder auch Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Das Haus mit dem Pool, den man mitbenutzen kann, lädt einfach ein zum entspannen. Und auch wenns mal regnet, ist es schön bei Euch
